brasileiras, mas sinto a falta de uma banda, os Maremotos de Curitiba!
Sou um dos guitarras da banda... e gostaria de dizer q tocamos direto a
algum tempo já, e q fazemos um surf bem clássico com misturas meio
malvadas como The Meteors (a melhor banda do mundo!!!), Deadbolt e
Legendary Raw Deal... tocaremos hoje aqui em Curita inclusive... temos
tocado muito, direto mesmo por aqui a algum tempo!
Bom é issae, muita força ao surf music e ao rock brasileiro em geral!

Greetings to you!
This site just goes to show how much music of quality is really out
there beyond Britain and the United States.
I have heard some 1960s central and South American
instrumental combos on Surfwave ( a local radio show) one night,
and most of it was pretty good. The influence of the Trashmen
was clearly evident.
I don't know how well this music is represented in Brazil. In the
United States, instrumental acts are shunned by most television
and radio. In fact, many of the rock and country performers who
are good guitarists may put an instrumental on record, but never
have aired on radio.
I like hearing rock instrumetalists from other countries. Whenever
a f riend of the Surfwave host (jim Dunfrund) who has just come
off touring Europe or Asia, he plays many good RI recordings from
combos virtually unknown until that broadcast.
Bossa NOva is popular up here again. It would not bother me to
hear some Brazillian rock instrumentals along side Jobin.

First let me tell you that I appreciate this fantastic Brasilian rock
instrumentals site. I wished every country in the world where rock -&-
roll instrumentals had been recorded would publish such a site on the
world wide web.
I'm a rock -&- roll collector from the south of the Netherlands and I
collect rock -&- roll from all over the wrold from the 50's/early 60's and
even revival-rock -&- roll. But because of this broad wise of collecting I
only collect the big stars of every country.
I not only collect rock -&- roll- instrumentals but also vocals of every
country (although I mostly don't understand the language, but anyway,
it gives you a rich information about the difference of the rock -&- roll
in this whole wide world).
OK, that's enough. To you all and the makers of this Brisalian site:
